Yes, I was one of those who always laughed at "those" people. The ones who constantly asked me to go to their candle parties or buy their makeup, etc. and etc. So how did I go from running away at the first sight of the Mary Kay lady, to someone who now is super excited about network marketing.

Well, first of all, I went to a party. Yes, I finally went to one. But this wasn't your candle party, y
our makeup party, your opportunity meeting disguised as a little get-together. No, this was something different. A wrap party. I put on this strange, gooey, weird-smelling wrap onto my stomach, while some woman I had never met before measured me, saw all of my stomach hanging out, and I was excited to do it. Why? Because I had been told I would lose inches. I won't go into all the details (because if you're really interested, you can always call me or email me and ask), but it's enough to say it really worked. So I was hooked. I was wrap crazy. lol

But it wasn't just the wraps. I started to hear amazing stories about the other products It Works! sells. Natural products that help you not only lose inches, but feel better, be healthier. So I did it - I signed up and became one of "those" people. But I'm really not. Because I don't go chasing after my friends. I just share my story, others stories, and if you're interested - so be it. Let me know. If not, no worries. Maybe later you will be, and maybe you won't. Again, just let me know.

So now that you know that part of my story, let me tell you the other part. My other reason for getting into It Works! This company and it's products offer me the opportunity to create more income. I have my own Virtual Assistant business, and am no stranger to being self-employed. But as so many of us entrepreneurs do, I found as I got more successful and added more clients to my roster, I had less time to do what I wanted to do, to spend with my kids, to just enjoy my day. And one day, I woke up with pneumonia, and as I worked while so sick I had to be on pain pills all day - I realized that my business was really just a glorified job! Meaning if I didn't work, I wouldn't make money. What would happen to my income if I couldn't work, if something happened that I had to really focus on my kids or myself? It would be gone.

Now with It Works!, I can make money without always trading my time for dollars. Working this business means working my schedule around my kids, not the other way around. I no longer have to tell my kids - just wait 5 more minutes. Or - not right now, I'm working. Or worry that if something serious happened to myself or my kids, my income would just stop. So my goal is to eventually replace my business income with It Works! income. More fun, more flexibility, more freedom!

This business is perfect for women just like me. Busy moms who need to make a good income, but also need time to be a mom, a wife, a parent, a caretaker. And moms who want to still generate a full-time income without having to work a full-time (or even more) job!
